New Overlength Page Charge Information
IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communication (J-SAC)

The IEEE Communications Society has recently instituted an increase in the number of pages per JSAC paper that are exempt from over-length page charges. The increase will take effect beginning on 1 January 2012 and will apply to all papers that are originally submitted for review on or after this date and that are subsequently published in a JSAC special issue. For such papers, when typeset in journal-ready format, the first eight pages will not be subject to over-length page charges; over-length page charges will start to accrue with the ninth page, at the rate of $220.00 per page beyond the eight-page limit. For papers originally submitted for review prior to 1 January 2012 and subsequently published in a JSAC special issue, the number pages that are exempt from over-length page charges will remain at the previous limit of seven. Please note that payment of over-length page charges is mandatory for all JSAC papers whose length exceeds the over-length threshold. For a detailed description of JSAC's over-length page charge policy, please consult http://www.jsac.ucsd.edu/Guidelines/info.html.
